In this "google" driven era, there is no dearth of information. On the contrary there is an overload. What we need is the ability to ask the right and relevant questions. 

It is indeed an individual quest as to what, why and how. It could be driven by curiosity - wanting to know; developing skills - to be able to do; 

We indeed lost a great explorer "Stephen Hawking" whose insatiable curiosity helped unravel the mysteries of universe. He was an epitome of holistic learning - 'learning to be'.
